Proposed Coverage Area

It's important to remember that this proposed coverage is still work in progress, and as such, may be liable to change as work on the project progresses.

Proposed Coverage AreaOur initial thoughts are that we would like the station to cover what most of us would think of as the catchment area of the Roseland Community College.

That is, we propose to cover the parishes of:

  • Cuby
  • Gerrans
  • Grampound with Creed
  • Ladock
  • Mevagissey
  • Philleigh
  • Probus
  • Ruanlanihorne
  • St. Ewe
  • St. Goran
  • St. Just-in-Roseland
  • St. Michael Caerhays
  • St. Michael Penkevil
  • Tregony
  • Veryan

Of course, this throws up logistical problems in terms of transport and access.  It's for this reason that we plan to broadcast from a "mobile studio" as well as the main studio back at base.  This mobile studio will move between the various parishes allowing anyone who wants to get involved in the station, but can't get to the studio itself; to broadcast.
